The International Campaign to Save Yahya Mohamed Elhafed's Life launched by the CODESA is still following the updates of the political prisoners' health status with the utmost concern.The health conditions of the Sahrawi political prisoners in the local prisons of Ait Melloul and Inezegane, Morocco, are still deteriorating because of the unlimited hunger strike they are going on. Nonetheless, the Moroccan authorities continue to ignore their legitimate demands.Although the prisoners' families tried to visit them, both prisons administrations have not allowed them to see their encarcerated relatives.The only source of information about the hunger strikers' health conditions are the common law prisoners, who provide the families with the political prisoners updates.In our contact with the families, they stressed that Yahya Mohamed Elhafed Iazza, Ennajem Baouba and Ali Bouamoud are still maintained in solitary confinement in both Inzegane and Ait Melloul jails.In addition, the hunger strikers' health status is worsening, and they could no more speak or move, especially Mohamed Elbarkaoui and Hassan Khallad.Yahya Mohamed Elhafed's family told the CODESA that the prison doctor, accompanied by a nurse and some employees, visited him yesterday, Friday, in his individual cell.They exerted pressure on him in order to stop his hunger strike, as he suffers from complete fatigue and vomits a yellow substance mixed with blood.The doctor and employees did not mention anything about Yahya's and the other Sahrawi political prisoners' release from the solitary confinement, where they have spent more than a month so far.

لازالت الحملة الدولية لإنقاذ حياة " يحي محمد الحافظ إعزى " التي أطلقها تجمع المدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان CODESA تواصل تتبع الحالة الصحية للمعتقلين السياسيين الصحراويين المضربين عن الطعام بالسجنين المحليين بأيت ملول وإنزكان والتي باتت تزداد خطورة نتيجة الإضراب المفتوح عن الطعام الذي يخوضونه في تجاهل تام لمطالبهم العادلة .وبالرغم من محاولة عائلات المعتقلين السياسيين الصحراويين زيارتهم ، فإن إدارتي السجنين مستمرة في رفضها وعدم مبالاتها بالعائلات ، التي تقطع عشرات الكولمترات ذهابا وأيابا بدون جدوى .ويظل المصدر الوحيد لتوصل العائلات بأخبار عن أبنائها هو سجناء الحق العام ، الذين يقوم البعض منهم في سرية تامة بإخبارهم عن مختلف التجاوزات التي يتعرض لها أبناءهم ، وكذا عن وضعهم الصحي .وفي اتصالنا بالعائلات أكدوا لنا أن المعتقلين الثلاثة ، وهم " يحي محمد الحافظ إعزى " و " الناجم بوبا " و " علي بوعمود " لازالوا في زنازن إنفرادية بالسجنين المحليين بأيت ملول وإنزكان ، والذين يفرض عليهم حصارا مشددا من قبل إدارتي السجنين المحليين وأن المضربين عن الطعام من المعتقلين باتت أحوالهم تنذر بالخطر بعد أن تسرب العياء لإجسادهم وساروا لايقدرون على الكلام أو الحركة ، خاصة بالنسبة للمعتقلين السياسيين الصحراويين " محمود البركاوي " و " حسن خلاد " .أما المدافع الصحراوي عن حقوق الإنسان " يحي محمد الحافظ إعزى " فقد تفاقمت أحواله الصحية منذ حوالي ثلاثة أسابيع بحكم العزلة والحصار الذي يعاني منه في زنزانة إنفرادية ( الكاشو ) ، حيث يعاني من العياء ومن التقيئ الدائم لدم ممزوج بمادة سفراء اللون .وأكدت عائلته أن طبيب المؤسسة مرفوقا بممرض وبعض الموظفين زاروه أمس وضغطوا عليه من أجل فك إضرابه المفتوح عن الطعام دون التطرق إلى الحصار أو إلى امكانية الإفراج عنه من الزنزانة الإنفرادية رفقة المعتقلين الآخرين المتواجدين في زنزانتين عقابيتين منذ ما يزيد على 32 يوما .
